Lifecheque Critical Illness Insurance will help you keep the sunshine in your life...... Especially during those rainy days.

We don't always prepare for a rainy day, let alone the financial burden that a critical illness can bring upon us.

Lifecheque was designed to act as a financial umbrella, to prepare you for the cost of additional care or the unexpected expenses that may arise during the course of your illness and recovery.

Lifecheque is a unique insurance product that provides a tax-free lump sum payment of the benefit amount ( from $25,000 - $2,000,000 ) on diagnosis of any one of the following eighteen critical illnesses.
  •  Heart Attack
  • Coronary Artery Disease requiring surgery
  • Stroke
  • Cancer
  • Kidney Failure
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Major Organ Transplant
  • Paralysis
  • Coma
  • Severe Burns
  • Blindness
  • Deafness
  • Loss of Speech
  • Loss of Limbs
  • Occupational HIV Injury
  • Motor Neuron Disease
    (ALS or Lou Gehrig's)
  • Parkinson's Disease
  • Alzheimer's Disease

Lifecheque benefits were designed to provide the necessary financial assistance to help you maintain your independence and quality of life, while recovering from a critical illness.

How the Lifecheque funds are allocated is entirely up to you. You may decide to use the money for:

  • Additional medical expenses
  • Home Renovations
  • Mortgage payments
  • Child Care
  • Housekeeping
  • Vacation

A Lifecheque plan can be purchased on its own or added to a new or existing insurance policy. A Lifecheque claim will not diminish the amount of life insurance.

COVER YOUR LOVED ONES

Add the Children's Lifecheque rider available from $5,000 to $100,000. Cover your children for the following conditions:

  • Congenital Heart Conditions
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Cystic Fibrosis
  • Down's Syndrome
  • Kidney Failure
  • Loss of Speech
  •  Major Organ Transplant
  • Muscular Dystrophy
  • Cancer
  • Blindness
  • Deafness
  • Paralysis

Lifecheque is available in four plan types:

Lifecheque Primary

The Primary Plan offers coverage for the four primary conditions: Heart Attack, Coronary Artery Disease Requiring Surgery, Cancer and Stroke. The premiums remain the same for the duration of the policy, which provides coverage until age 65.

Lifecheque Level

The Level Plan offers coverage for all 18 conditions. Premiums remain the same for the duration of the policy, which provides coverage until age 75

Lifecheque Renewable

The Renewable Plan offers coverage for all 18 conditions. The premiums automatically renew every 10 years based on attained age. The policy provides coverage until age 75.

Lifecheque Permanent

The Permanent Plan offers coverage for all 18 conditions. Certain conditions are limited to a diagnosis prior to age 75. The remaining conditions are covered for life.
